Ariana Grande wields a power both great and terrible. On Thursday, October 11, the singer shared several states deadlines to vote on her Instagram story, alongside a direct link to the March For Our Lives website. Within a half hour, the website had crashed due to a massive influx of Grande-fans registering to vote.
Grande sent out her call to action as part of MFOL's Turnout Tuesdays, where, every Tuesday until the November midterms, the organization makes a concerted effort to encourage young people to vote.
Grande isn't the only star driving youth to the polls this week! A post supporting Tennessee Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and incumbent U.S. House member Rep. Jim Cooper from pop sensation Taylor Swift drew record registration rates among 18- to 29-year-olds over the course of two days.
Arianators have never been more excited to vote!
Well done using your power to turn out the vote, Ariana! Everyone, make sure you're registered for this November.
