It was announced last year that Christian Bale would be playing former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney in an upcoming film by director Adam McKay.
On Tuesday, McKay gave everyone a sneak peek of Bale via Twitter in anticipation of the first trailer for the film, titled Vice.
The 44-year-old actor—best known for his iconic portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight series—looks almost nothing like himself in the new role.

To make the transformation into Cheney, Bale said he gained 40 pounds, did some neck-thickening exercises, bleached his eyebrows, and shaved his head, according to an interview with Yahoo.
