A Twitter user just re-edited the Captain Marvel trailer with Ariana Grande's "God Is A Woman" and it's peak feminism perfection.
Gabriella, or Gabi for short, is a 19-year-old from Brazil who is a proud lesbian and Slytherin.
She specializes in video edits. Specifically, she reimagines movie trailers with new underscoring and sometimes by mashing up different character's stories to show how their plots intersect.
Her videos can be found on her YouTube channel, madxthing, which has nearly 3000 subscribers.
On Tuesday, Gabi released another video on her Twitter and it's one of the best things to hit the internet this year. Check it out.
And Gabi isn't done. She has plans to come out with an edit with other female superheroes including Wonder Woman and Black Widow.
In an era of pink pussy hats and the #MeToo movement, feminism is in the midst of a particularly interesting time.
In many ways, women are finally seeing a shift that is allowing for things like the first openly gay woman CEO of a Fortune 500 company.
But at the same time, women are still feeling that some of their basic rights are in jeopardy. That is why there were women dressed up as handmaids to protest during Kavanaugh's Supreme Court hearing.
Gabi's video brilliantly shows the juxtaposition between how far women have come and how far we still have to go.
Twitter is loving her spot-on statement.
Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8.
