Dunkin' Donuts Is Dropping The 'Donuts' From Its Name—And The Internet Isn't Happy About It

Dunkin' Donuts is changing its name to simply Dunkin', as Business Insider reported on Tuesday. The rollout of the new name is part of a major rebranding effort on behalf of the company. Their first new concept store was opened late last year in Quincy Massachusetts. It features Nitro Cold Brew, a new store design, and digital kiosks.

But according to Business Insider...

"The Dunkin' concept isn't necessarily a permanent change — while it will be rolling out to about 50 stores, Dunkin' Donuts said in a statement that it doesn't plan to make any decisions regarding the branding until later this year."
