Ten years ago, in May 2008, the newly established Marvel Studios took a gamble and released Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr. on the verge of a possible comeback. Making a movie about a virtually unknown superhero was risky but the gamble paid off. Iron Man was a hit with both critics and audiences.
And audiences who stuck around until after the credits learned it was just the beginning.
With 17 movies released and Black Panther set to premiere next week, Marvel thought it was the perfect time to bring in everyone who's made it all possible.
