Chevy Chase has had a rough couple of years in the public eye.
Not too long ago, he left a vicious voicemail for Dan Harmon (showrunner of the smash hit Community) which, among other things, called the show a "f---king mediocre sitcom".
But, this time, Chevy Chase was actually not at fault as UK DJ Mike Read tried (and desperately failed) to interview him.
Apparently, Read was incredibly unprepared for the interview and kept asking Chase inappropriate and really personal questions, to the point that the audience was live-tweeting about it.
At one point, Read decided to bust out a guitar to sing a song for seemingly no reason:
Chase tried hard to help the evening along, but there's only so much one man can do. Plus, the questions continued to get more and more intrusive.
The interview finally ended when Read was heckled off the stage, prompting Chevy Chase to exit with a mic drop.
A mic drop for the interview that Mike dropped, if you will.
Mike Read was best known for his work as a DJ and Television Presenter for the BBC in the 1970s-1980s, but will now presumably be best known for his work embarrassing himself on stage in the company of Chevy Chase.
