If you have been a victim of sexual assault or know someone who has been a victim of sexual assault, the look on Uma Thurman's face during the clip you're about to see will probably be familiar to you.
Access Hollywood asked the star what her feelings were about the wave of allegations and accusations coming to light regarding sexual misconduct in Hollywood. Her response has Twitter talking. It's not just what Uma said that caught people's attention, it's the way she said it.
The normally effervescent actress struggled through her words without cracking her ever-present smile or making any effort to hide the anger from her face.
"...I don't have a tidy soundbite for you..."
After warning the interviewer that she wouldn't have a neat little clip, she explained her perspective to the best of her ability.
Here is the full answer she gave:
"I don't have a tidy soundbite for you, because I have learned I am not a child and I have learned that when I have spoken in anger I usually regret the way I express myself. So when I'm ready, I'll say what I have to say."
Watch the clip for yourself:
Many on Twitter could relate to Thurman's statement...
The anger behind Thurman's words was palpable to many.
And the inevitable Kill Bill GIFs were on point...
Uma may not have a tidy soundbite for us, but Celso breaks it down pretty well:
