They say hindsight is 20/20 and no one knows this more than actor Mark Hamill of Star Wars fame. In recent years, Hamill has become a fan favorite of celebrities on Twitter for posting things like this Father's Day Tweet, and a hysterical exchange with Captain America's Chris Evans.
As much as fans love Hamill, however, they might not want to take career advice from him if they are going into the entertainment industry. Hamill himself admits he once gave terrible career advice to none other than The Terminator's Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In a weekend tweet, Hamill wrote:
Arnold Schwarzenegger asked me for advice when he was just starting out. I told him to lose his accent for a wider range of roles & to change his last name since no one could pronounce it. He did the opposite & became one of the biggest stars EVER.
At least now we know.
Hamill's advice may have been bad, but this? This takes the cake.
Even if his advice wasn't the best, fans still love Luke Skywalker.
If everything is the opposite, maybe Hamill should have advised Schwarzenegger to go into politics?
