Man Thought He Bought Red Hot Chili Peppers Tickets—But He Was Most Certainly Mistaken

By Jonna Ivin-Patton

Imagine finding the deal of a lifetime, only to discover it's not what you think it is, simply because you misread the notice. That's exactly what happened to Twitter user Duncan Robb when he stumbled across what he thought were tickets to The Red Hot Chili Peppers for the bargain basement price of $41.

Robb snatched up the tickets to give to his girlfriend for Christmas. He told Storyful:

Fast forward a month and we get the actual tickets through the post – brilliant! Up they went on the board – still nobody had noticed my mistake. It was only until the Wednesday before when my [girlfriend] wanted to know who was supporting them. She couldn’t find anything about the Red Hot Chili Peppers performing in Belfast.

Turns out there was a reason she couldn't find anything on the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
