We generally recognize, as adults, that a lot of the stuff we were preoccupied with as teenagers truly did not matter. We couldn't see it at the time, but as they say, hindsight is 20/20.
This all stems from a tweet from Twitter user @unakavanagh:
People are following up with the advice they would go back in time and give to themselves at 16.
Some of it is humorous:
But some of it was incredibly poignant.
And a lot of it was a reminder just to be grateful for life and not take it so seriously.
And most importantly, leading the life you want to lead.
For there's such a lot of life to live.
What advice would you give to your 16-year-old self?
