“I believe Jesus would approve gay marriage. That’s just my own personal opinion.”

Former President Jimmy Carter said that, probably between building houses for Habitat for Humanity. The quote may be from 2015, but that didn't stop evangelist Franklin Graham, son of the late Billy Graham, from taking to Facebook to spread homophobic vitriol.
