On Saturday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel's office released a photo of Merkel confronting President Donald Trump at the G7 Summit in La Malbaie, Quebec, Canada.
The photo shows Merkel standing and leaning into Trump who is sitting with his arms crossed. He is surrounded by other leaders from Japan, France and the UK, all of whom are standing and watching Merkel as she speaks with Trump.
Many people didn't even believe the photo was real at all.
But others are analyzing what they see.
Some people take the photo as a clear sign of the United States' place in the world in the era of Trump.
But some found the chance to poke some fun at the president too hard to resist.
While some couldn't resist doing a few alterations to the official photo.
The photo came out just a day after Trump pushed for the reinstatement of Russia into G7, returning the organization to the original "G8." This calls for readmission of Russia after President Barack Obama spearheaded their suspension in 2014 after Russia illegally annexed the Crimean peninsula from Ukraine.
Trump is known for allegedly colluding with Russia during the 2016 Presidential Election. But Trump's push to reinstate Russia wasn't the only time during the summit that he met with resistance.
In fact, France dubbed this year's G7 Summit "G6 +1."
John Bolton, National Security Advisor to Trump who appears in the now famous photo, shared his own reaction to it, putting the European and Asian leaders into the known war hawk's crosshairs:
