President Trump and First Lady Melania hosted the 95th annual lighting of the National Christmas Tree outside of the White House Thursday night. The ceremony went off without a hitch, but photographs of the back of the "crowd" show that the event was not exactly... crowded.
People took to Twitter to share pictures of the sparsely attended festivities:
Perhaps crowd size wouldn't be such an issue if Sean Spicer had not said of Trump's inauguration, "This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, period."
