It was a jaw dropping episode of America's Got Talent on Tuesday night. One couple’s trapeze act got a LOT of attention—and not for the right reasons.

Trapeze artist couple Mary and Tyce were performing their high-flying routine when Mary, hanging upside-down, slid down her husband's body and out from his grasp, plummeting to the stage before the eyes of the studio audience, their two-year-old son Jaxx, and the completely gobsmacked judges.

Viewers seemed just as surprised as the judges:

But some folks were suspicious and they made a few good points...

Others bought it hook, line, and sinker:

Check out the whole amazing act BEFORE the fall:

Mary is reportedly fine. According to People, a heavy mat broke her fall. She got back up during the show, smiled, and exchanged a kiss with her husband. She even asked the judges if they could have a second chance, but they were overruled by Simon Cowell.

Cowell reminded the couple:

You nearly broke your neck.

Fall or no, the pair gets to advance to the show’s live rounds.

Just remember Tyce, when it comes to holding on to your partner, a promise is a promise.

We're looking at YOU Rose.
