Actor and comedian Tom Arnold, best known for his contentious marriage to President-Trump-loving actress and comedian Roseanne Barr, was seen out in New York with Trump's beleaguered personal attorney, Michael Cohen, who is currently under investigation by federal prosecutors.

Arnold posted a pic on social media, first captioning it simply, "I Love New York," before admitting on Twitter and later in an interview with NBC that he is planning on taking Trump down. Cohen himself retweeted the pic without comment.

According to NBC, it turns out, Arnold is:

...working with Vice on a new show that features him hunting for unflattering video of Trump.

Arnold told NBC News early Friday that Cohen talked to him for the new Vice show:

We’ve been on the other side of the table and now we’re on the same side.

So far, Arnold is saving it all for TV, keeping mum about exactly what, if any, evidence his new Vice show, The Hunt for the Trump Tapes, which seeks to "investigate whether rumored tapes from the past showing the president in a negative light actually exist," has unearthed. But he's still teasing it all on social media, promising commenters that what he got from Cohen is big enough for Trump to quit.

Reactions ran the gamut:

Here are some Trump rumors people hope Arnold can chase down and get the tapes for:

It appears Arnold's fans and anyone anti-Trump are pretty much on board, cheering Cohen's potential defection:

NBC contacted a Vice producer regarding Cohen's meeting with Arnold and were told that Cohen had not yet done an on-camera interview but that they are "still working it." The now much-anticipated show is expected to air later this year but even if Arnold fails in his mission, we always have the satisfaction of getting under Trump's skin.

As Arnold told NBC:

It’s on! I hope he [Trump] sees the picture of me and Michael Cohen and it haunts his dreams.

Don't we all?
