Cambridge Analytica, the company founded by Steve Bannon and Robert Mercer, is shutting down and filing bankruptcy due to bad publicity after it came to light the company mined information from Facebook and used it to sway the election in favor of Donald Trump. Feels like a win for democracy, right? Wrong.
Turns out Cambridge Analytica is simply changing the sign on the door and continuing business as usual. Yes, they really do think we are that stupid.
The new name for Cambridge Analytica is Emerdata Limited and is housed in the same offices with many of the same executives. Namely, Mercer's daughters Jennifer and Rebekah Mercer are directors of Emerdata. Along with Johnson Chun Shun Ko, an executive from Frontier Services Group, which is chaired by Trump supporter Erik Prince. Erik Prince just happens to be the brother of Trump appointed, Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos. The favors come full circle.
It seems trump isn't draining the swamp, he's simply changing it out for still murky waters. Cambridge Analytica, working now as Emerdata Limited is describing the "new" company in a vague way as a "data processing, hosting and related activities" organization. Seems not much has changed around the water cooler.
Journalist, Wendy Siegelman, has compiled an extensive chart to show how the major players of Cambridge Analytica have simply switched up titles and moved over to Emerdata Limited.
Chart: Emerdata Ltd - the new Cambridge Analytica/SCL Group? CA's Nigel Oakes said Emerdata was set up a year ago to acquire CA/SCL, now two Mercers are on the board, with Erik Prince's business partner Chun Shun Ko, who has close ties to the Chinese gov'thttps://t.co/7WNONU2Izl— Wendy Siegelman (@WendySiegelman) March 26, 2018
As this clip shows, the executives at Cambridge Analytica are keeping quiet. The man in the clip is Alexander Nix, the former CEO of Cambridge Analytica who is now conveniently listed as a director at Emerdata.
This time the people aren't being fooled.
New from me: Just a big coincidence, but Cambridge Analytica's primary funder Rebekah Mercer joined a shadowy new firm called Emerdata last month.— Ben Collins (@oneunderscore__) May 2, 2018
When she filed British government paperwork, she used Cambridge Analytica's New York address.

Everyone should know this name.
Don't let these traitors run their business!
