Pennsylvania School's Plan To Protect Students From A Shooter: A Bucket Of Rocks

The epidemic of school shootings in America has people everywhere grappling with what the best possible solution might be. Liberals advocate for stricter gun control, while conservatives are calling for increased mental health care and possibly arming teachers within schools. A Pennsylvania super-intendant thinks he's got the right idea, however, and people are pretty stunned by it: he's given each classroom a bucket of rocks to throw at an active shooter should one ever appear in the building. 

Well, that's really...something. Twitter users were decidedly underwhelmed.

Other users were outraged at the idea.

People aren't thinking very highly of Dr. David Helsel, the super-intendant. 

...but maybe the rocks could work?
