More than just a hit movie, Black Panther is a cultural phenomenon. People can't seem to get enough Wakanda in their lives, so it's no surprise this new video of a creative mom transforming a Barbie doll into Princess Shuri (T'Challa's younger sister and civilization's resident tech genius) is going viral! Toya Moore-Broyles and her daughter IsaBella created the video for their YouTube channel My Froggy Stuff, which specialized in doll makeovers and has over 1.6 million subscribers. Their Shuri doll video already has 470k views!
The mother/daughter team's creativity has floored Twitter!
Their work reminded some Twitter users of their own childhood play:
People wish they could buy a Shuri doll just like this one:
Disney hire this lady! This is absolutely beautiful.❤️❤️❤️— Rafael Espinal (@razorwolf73) March 10, 2018
People admired the amazing craftsmanship that went into the doll. Creating something so cool takes time and talent!
All the non-Shuri dolls better watch out:
There's no shame in wanting a new toy, no matter how old you are:
I am a 52 year old woman. I want this doll!!!— Nila N. Brown, Wakandan Cheetah Diva🌻 (@AuthorNNBrown) March 15, 2018
My Froggy Stuff has inspired quite the fervor! Will we see some Shuri: Disney Princess dolls on the market soon? We hope so.
