If you're a fan of the art of drag, drag queens, glamour, high work ethic, or RuPaul's Drag Race, you're about to have your mind blown. RuPaul's Drag Race has been changing the face of drag, and the way that we, as a collective, understand and accept drag. The show put the spotlight on an underground art form and showed the world the wit, the work, the creativity, and the charisma uniqueness nerve and talent it had been missing all these years. And it's a lot of years, since drag has been happening for centuries!
We have so much catching up to do! But first, let's talk about all the catching up with Thailand that Twitter got to do.
RuPaul's Drag Race changed the game here in the states, and now it's got an international spin off in Drag Race Thailand. It's pretty clear these queens know their craft and came ready to kill. Western audiences don't often get a glimpse of fashion or drag in Thailand, but they are now.
Twitter. Is. Living. For. This. Fantasy.
It’s interesting seeing what Drag Race Thailand cribs directly from the American show and what it does new.— Daniel🏳️🌈Taylor (@Happy_Natto) February 17, 2018
It’s pretty amazing seeing this show kick off with this level of talent and polish compared to... the forgotten season.
Drag Race in Thailand looks 10x more amazing and fashion forward and has way better aesthetics...— 𖤐𝕾𝖆𝖙𝖆𝖓𖤐 (@EatBussy) February 22, 2018
I’m watching Drag Race Thailand and I am so excited. The runway is amazing, better than any original Drag Race runway challenge. It’s rare to see a spin-off be as good as the original!— Zulkarnain Sadali (@mdzulkar9) February 16, 2018
We know what you're really here for, though. The looks! The sass! The queens! Serve 'em up.
