It's not often that a young artist gets a chance to showcase their work to the entire world. Thanks to her older sister, one young artist got a chance to do just that. In a moment of sisterly pride, Twitter user @Jaylah_Baby shared the progression of her little sister's art.
We got a little misty-eyed at how cute this was.
Dana Abbey is really talented, with a strong voice and stunning perspective — at only twelve years old.
People quickly realized this was more than your standard "oh these are nice" artwork.

People started asking to see more, so Jaylah obliged:
And that kicked off an immediate flood of this:

We laughed at her "So I hear Jaylah got me famous" comment. Talent and humor? We adore her!
She shared more of her work on her page:
And everyone ended up with the reminder that representation matters:
Amazing to see a kid understanding the need for giving voice to people with vitiligo and faces dusted with freckles...i mean how thoughtful for her age ❤— Ramya Aiyer (@madraswali) February 27, 2018
I'd literally never seen a drawing nor painting of a person with vitiligo. Extra points to her 🙌🏽— 🦋Yari🦋 (@Xamry07) February 28, 2018
My mom has lupus with lesions that mirror vitilago on her face, scalp, ears, back, neck and arms. I sent this to her to remind her that now matter the scars, she's still beautiful. Thank you Dana. ❤— 👑Duchess 🐘 (@DuchessLiberty) February 27, 2018
Dana has all of Twitter, and us, giving her the proud mama clap like:
