Michelle Obama recently announced a release date for her memoir, titled Becoming. According to the former FLOTUS and the publishing house, we can expect to see the book hit shelves on November 13. People are calling the book "unusually intimate" and praising the honesty with which Michelle tackled discussing difficult issues.
Michelle, herself, posted about it on both her Twitter and Instagram, but thanks to character counts her Instagram caption is a little more "Michelle".
Writing BECOMING has been a deeply personal experience. It has allowed me, for the very first time, the space to honestly reflect on the unexpected trajectory of my life. In this book, I talk about my roots and how a little girl from the South Side of Chicago found her voice and developed the strength to use it to empower others. I hope my journey inspires readers to find the courage to become whoever they aspire to be. I can't wait to share my story. Please visit the website in my bio for more information.
People are jazzed about this.

Michelle Obama releasing her memoir in November just made my 2018.— chakra khan ✌️ (@creamykinss) February 27, 2018
Some couldn't help but notice the timing of the book release.
Interesting timing here: Michelle Obama's memoir, "Becoming," will be published on November 13, one week after the 2018 midterm elections. The memoir will chronicle "the experiences that have shaped her," according to Penguin Random House.— Daniel (@DanielStrauss4) February 25, 2018
Perfect timing! Each newly elected Democratic member of Congress should receive a copy of Michelle Obama's book since it will be published shortly after the election. I'm sure they would find it inspiring!— Mary Kirkwood (@Mkwood1952) February 25, 2018
Right after the Blue Wave hits congress! Perfect timing!— ARealPotus44th (@Commoncents44th) February 25, 2018
Citizens of Twitter had more to talk about than just timing, though.
Counting on Michelle to be brutally honest. Thinking she will be.— Clay Stone (@flinthaven) February 25, 2018
I am really looking forward to reading your book. I bet, it's gonna be much better than that of a certain other first lady, which has recently released a book that is about regret, blaming other people and anger, whereas yours is about love and respect and life lessons.— hard to make jokes (@JokesHard) February 25, 2018
This person was less excited, but for an interesting reason.
