Nikolas Cruz, the confessed shooter who opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on Wednesday, was involved in a private Instagram group chat that spouted racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic, and sexist hate speech. It seems Cruz named the group "Merica" and was an instigator is leaving the most hateful messages to the rest of the group, most of whom are under the age of 18. The group shared hundreds of racist memes, messages, and Instagram posts.
