A Canadian Dad Just Carved A Harry Potter Wonderland Out Of Ice For His Daughters To Play In
3 months ago

It has been twenty-one years since J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was published in the U.K. and twenty years since it debuted state side with the slightly altered title of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Rowling's series became a once in a generation cultural touchstone. I grew up with Harry. I was eleven years old when the first book came out, and as he grew, so did I. These books taught us all how to celebrate friendship, move through loss, understand our place in the world, and grasp the fact that any of us can grow up and be a 'hero.' J.K. Rowling has given us a great gift, and her series will be passed down for generations to come.

On Saturday, the CBC revealed how one Canadian father is choosing to celebrate the world of Harry Potter in a particularly special way...

Yes, that's right! This dad carved a Hogwarts wonderland out of ice for his two daughters.

Sherwood Park News managed to grab these closer up photos...

Naturally, people had some feels about this one.

Many wished that this was their dad...

And this person couldn't resist a good 'fandom' joke...

And some were just impressed...

Now we just want to know if he does work for hire?

PLEASE!?
