Ten years ago, in May 2008, the newly established Marvel Studios took a gamble and released Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr. on the verge of a possible comeback. Making a movie about a virtually unknown superhero was risky but the gamble paid off. Iron Man was a hit with both critics and audiences.

And audiences who stuck around until after the credits learned it was just the beginning.

With 17 movies released and Black Panther set to premiere next week, Marvel thought it was the perfect time to bring in everyone who's made it all possible.

Marvel released a photo showing more than 70 of the people who played a role, both on-screen and off, in making this cinematic universe possible.

It. Is. Grand.

Marvel's official Twitter posted a video showing how they got this fandom-pleasing shot. The video shows actors and filmmakers from the films interacting. Jeff Goldblum (The Grandmaster in Guardians of the Galaxy) laughs with Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man); Tom Holland (Spider-Man) chats next to Chris Pratt (Star Lord); Elizabeth Olson (Scarlett Witch from The Avengers) hugs Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange), and many more.

You know, crossovers that we desperately need in movie form.

Fans on Twitter expressed their gratitude for such an epic pic, and thanked Marvel for 10 years of awesomeness:

One eagle-eyed fan even spotted newcomer Brie Larson (Captain Marvel in the upcoming film) wandering about:

Here's to 10 more years, indeed.

And in case you were wondering, Mashable put together a list, from left to right, of every single person in the picture:
