Frank Ocean interviewed actor Timothée Chalamet for VMAN Magazine and Twitter is eating it up. As the third youngest nominee in history for the Academy Award for Best Actor (and the youngest nominee in close to 80 years), Chalamet's popularity skyrocketed last year with the success of three films—Lady Bird, Hostiles, and Luca Guadagnino's romance, Call Me by Your Name. It was his lead role in the latter that garnered him the nomination for the Academy Award, along with several other nominations.
Check out the link in the Tweet below to read the full interview in which they discuss everything from the origin of Chalamet's name, to how having to include cellphones in contemporary movies is a bummer:
Chalamet is a huge Frank Ocean fan and the energy between the two is evident in the interview—Twitter is loving it:
Fans appreciate the artist to artist vibe of the piece:
Excellent interview. I love when artists interview/are interviewed by artists they admire. They ask questions in their own special shared language. Two young talents really charting their own artistic path with humility, passion & charm. Very refreshing.— Lulu Says (@lulu_says2) February 6, 2018
the man himself, Frank Ocean. I bet Timmy’s wig’s gone mad!!— Hoboroots (@hoboroots) February 6, 2018
Though not everyone knows who Timothée Chalamet is...yet:
He’s in an LGBT movie called Call Me By Your Name that’s got hella awards and up for Oscars!!!!— McCall🥀 (@mcsfff) February 6, 2018
The cover of the magazine alone was enough to excite some people:
AMAZING COVER. He is the hottest actor on earth right now. He is everywhere.— Andy (@AndyZaturno) February 6, 2018
The new Hollywood heartthrob? Look out Nick Jonas and Dave Franco:
I mean.... seriously. Stop looking at me like that Timothee.— Love, Jessica (@Ms_Pinetree) February 6, 2018
He is just so attractive and special. I’m sure his intellect is equally as unique as his appearance, but it’s so hard not to stare with envy at his beautiful eyes AND eye brows 👀— LB (@lindsay40858819) February 6, 2018
Is it just me or is it getting a little hot in here?
