Just hours after Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall put out a call for help on social media to find her missing brother, he was found dead.
This is Kim's post on Instagram:
As the post states, Christopher Cattrall, 55, had been missing since last Tuesday, January 30, from his home in Lacombe, Alberta Canada. Kim explained how his keys, wallet, and phone were left at home, along with his seven dogs. She also noted that the front door was unlocked. After detailing his physical description, Cattrall said, "He's a one of a kind brother," and pleaded for help in bringing him home safe.
Fans were hopeful that Chris would be found, or return home safely:
I pray that your brother is found safe and sound, and all of your family pulls together, stays strong, and keeps faith that he will come back to you.— trpdoe (@trpdoe1) February 4, 2018
Hope he is found safe, so hard for anyone to lose family.— John Lieb (@fisherman00197) February 4, 2018
Unfortunately, it was not to be. Chris was found dead at home on Sunday afternoon. There are no reports of anything suspicious, though his death is currently under investigation.
Kim announced the sad news on her Instagram and Twitter:
Family, friends, colleagues, and fans were sorry for her loss.
Many people, including Mia Farrow, reached out:
