Early this morning, Trump Tweeted another finger-pointing post about Adam Schiff, Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and investigator of Russian relations in this past presidential election.
Little Adam Schiff, who is desperate to run for higher office, is one of the biggest liars and leakers in Washington, right up there with Comey, Warner, Brennan and Clapper! Adam leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information. Must be stopped!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 5, 2018
Schiff responded to the accusations of lying and leaking information as "false smears" in addition to some other words for Trump.
Mr. President, I see you’ve had a busy morning of “Executive Time.” Instead of tweeting false smears, the American people would appreciate it if you turned off the TV and helped solve the funding crisis, protected Dreamers or...really anything else. https://t.co/lVqQRu2Gjl— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) February 5, 2018
The Twitter war on the Russian investigation between Trump and Schiff started long before this early morning Tweet.
The top Leadership and Investigators of the FBI and the Justice Department have politicized the sacred investigative process in favor of Democrats and against Republicans - something which would have been unthinkable just a short time ago. Rank & File are great people!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 2, 2018
The President’s decision to publicly release a misleading memo attacking DOJ & FBI is a transparent attempt to discredit these institutions and undermine Mueller’s probe.— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) February 2, 2018
We'll fight to release our classified response. Until then here's a glimpse at what's wrong with their memo: pic.twitter.com/HX0J6UtDLY
This memo totally vindicates “Trump” in probe. But the Russian Witch Hunt goes on and on. Their was no Collusion and there was no Obstruction (the word now used because, after one year of looking endlessly and finding NOTHING, collusion is dead). This is an American disgrace!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2018
Quite the opposite, Mr. President. The most important fact disclosed in this otherwise shoddy memo was that FBI investigation began July 2016 with your advisor, Papadopoulos, who was secretly discussing stolen Clinton emails with the Russians. https://t.co/2rGOE1jGg2— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) February 3, 2018
If the memo was really about oversight, committee members would want to read the underlying documents and bring in the FBI. Republicans voted against both.— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) February 4, 2018
The interest was not oversight, it was a political hit job on the FBI in the service of the President: pic.twitter.com/LJD3qLGPw6
Most people are catching on to Trumps diversion tactics on Twitter and are not having it.
Keep deflecting, it is so obvious you are sweating cheeseburgers!!— Alexandra Brill (@brill_alexandra) February 5, 2018
Can we talk about the continuing kindergarten name calling?
When backed into a corner, bullies start name calling. Grow up.— Rick Carter (@68rickcarter) February 5, 2018
It's so depressing that you are the (illegitimate) president.— Orange Buffoon (@sadchiefcheeto) February 5, 2018
Fatty Donnie wannie, how embarrassing can you get?
