Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci attempted to bash David Frum, senior editor at The Atlantic and author of Trumpocracy: The Corruption of the American Republic. It didn't go quite the way Scaramucci probably expected.
Scaramucci blasted Frum on Twitter for not fact checking when "attacking" President Trump.
Frum clapped back in a way many people found relatable:
If we’re rhyming, don’t Scaramucci and screwed-the-poochie rhyme, too?— Col. Morris Davis (@ColMorrisDavis) February 3, 2018
Trust me, this is far from the most childish statement Scaramucci is capable of. Ask Steve Bannon about this.— Jeet Heer (@HeerJeet) February 3, 2018
Frum's followers, fans, and colleagues were throwing some serious shade:
"A grown man tweeted this?" I think not, David...A very small man tweeted this.— cmacs (@Leafer1) February 3, 2018
And then Scaramucci engaged further with some fightin' words:
Scaramucci tried to shut the situation down but no one was having it:
Whiner. Frum ate your lunch last night, get over it.— Brenda Of The North (@BrendaJeanCDN) February 3, 2018
Maybe next time, Anthony.
