Model and soon to be mom, Chrissy Teigen stopped by The Tonight Show on Tuesday night and recounted to host Jimmy Fallon about her awkward yet sweet exchange seeing Beyoncé at the Grammy's.
Teigen described the situation as she was leaving with husband John Legend:
On our way out, I was like, ‘We have to say something, right?’ And I took both her hands ― I don’t do this for anybody, it was very weird ― and John’s like, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ And I took her hands and I got down on my knees and I was like, ‘Sorry to bother you, My Queen.’ Like, who says that?! It was like, m’lady. Like, what do you even ― who am I?
You can watch Teigen tell the story in the clip below.
When Twitter was asked if they would do the same, the answer was a resounding no.
A few people threw Chrissy a bone and thought it was cute.

Maybe next time a hug or wave will do.
The lesson learned — if you meet a celebrity, it's best to remain standing.
