Netflix Honors Millie Bobby Brown With 'The Office' Tweet—And Twitter Is Chuckling
Updated 4 months ago

Millie Bobby Brown is on fire. Everyone's favorite psychic teen has received critical acclaim for her performance as the troubled Eleven in Netflix's wildly popular nostalgia trip, Stranger Things.

The first season earned Brown multiple award nominations, including a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, and the second season, which premiered in October, earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award Nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.

And it was Brown's attire at the Screen Actors Guild Awards the earned her a nice shoutout from Netflix. Fans of The Office will recognize the Season 2, Episode 1 Dundies reference, with Michael Scott handing out an award for the "Whitest Sneakers" to Pam Beesly.

Now, there's a new recipient of the famed award.

Fans of binge watching shows like Stranger Things have almost certainly binged The Office, and the tweet clearly resonated with them.

Twitter users showed their love of Brown's white kicks and their desire for an Scranton/Hawkins crossover.

Keep it strange, Millie.
