Colin Kaepernick Is About To Finish His Million Dollar Pledge—And He's Getting Some Extra Help

Ten months ago, former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick made this pledge:

I will donate one million dollars plus all the proceeds of my jersey sales from the 2016 season to organizations working in oppressed communities, 100k a month for 10 months.

Kaepernick has been true to his world. Now in his tenth and final month, Colin is donating $10,000 to ten more charities to round out his $1 million promise. 

Kaepernick is taking things a step further. Ten of his friends are helping him choose the charities — and matching his final donation.
