Believe it or not, there are tons of people who don't realize that Oprah Winfrey is an incredibly gifted actress. There are thousands of people out there who only know Oprah as the talk show host who gives away cars like they're pennny candy. If you're one of those people, get it together!

Our first time seeing her as an actress who really wowed us was during the 1989 TV mini-series The Women Of Brewster Place. She was in The Color Purple, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, Beloved, Their Eyes Were Watching God, Charlotte's Web, The Princess And The Frog, Selma, The Butler, Bee Movie and so many more things that it's kind of ridiculous.
If you've truly never seen her act, you're about to get another chance. Disney just released images of her in costume as Mrs. Which for their upcoming film A Wrinkle In Time.

Oprah played Princess Tiana's mother, so she's practically Disney royalty anyway, but her turn as the ethereal Mrs. Which is bound to be amazing. We can't wait!
