In what is being called a "very embarrassing situations" by Detroit's police chief, a drug arrest went bust. Twice!
Two separate police precincts, the 11th and 12th, both set up sting operations trying to sell drugs in an attempt to arrest drug users. The problem arose when the cops started treating each other like criminals.
An all out brawl broke out between the officers. Chief James Craig had this to say about the fistfight:
“This is probably one of the most embarrassing things I’ve seen in this department... It appears that this supervisor did not have control of the situation, and had a tendency to get the officers from the 12th Precinct excited to the point we have this very embarrassing situation."
This could be a fun premise for a movie - two groups of cops stealing each other's unmarked cars etc.— Random832 (@Random832) November 16, 2017
I'm thinking more like Spy vs Spy where they just keep stealing the same desk.— Super Fun Guy 2017 ☺ (@ryan_gunther) November 16, 2017

the prevalence of blue on blue violence is a sad commentary on the lack of values in their community i guess— Omega Red (@pacifistHULK) November 16, 2017
where are these cops' parents? their families? do they have no older police officer role models?— Mark (@haircut_hippie) November 16, 2017

"No, you're under arrest!
"Not if I arrest you first!"
"Good luck arresting me while you're under arrest! "
You know the homeowner stood there, shaking their head and thinking, "wow, this is really weird. This is literally like a Kevin James movie. Paul Blart is an undercover cop, for real..."— Juliethe RealJules (@JTRJules) November 16, 2017
