Paola Garcia's parents brought her to the U.S. when she was just two years old. Now 21, Garcia is a "Dreamer" and attends Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. Garcia is protected under DACA, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program that the Obama administration established in 2012. President Trump has promised to rescind DACA, and some people are taking it upon themselves to "help."

Fellow Transylvania student Taylor Ragg shared a Facebook post (now deleted) urging people to report Garcia as undocumented:

Garcia posted a plea for help on YouTube:

Social media users offered overwhelming support for Garcia:

In an interesting turn of events, Ragg is no longer attending the university. Michele Sparks, a spokeswoman for the school, said he left campus following a grievance with school administrators.

Privacy laws prevented the school from saying if Ragg left voluntarily or was expelled.
