Beyoncé released a statement on Monday in the Houston Chronicle, showing her support for victims of Hurricane Harvey:

My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help. I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor (Rudy Rasmus in Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as we can.

BeyGOOD, founded in 2006 by Beyoncé during her Miss Carter Tour, is an organization that works with different charities around the world to provide employment opportunities, clothing, food, and medical help.

This is not the first time Beyoncé and Jay-Z have come to the aid of people in need. They helped people in Flint, Michigan during the water crisis, as well as protesters in Baltimore.

This royal music family is always there with a little help for their friends.
