You'll Soon Be Able To See Who Likes You On Tinder-But It's Gonna Cost You

Tinder is starting to let users see who liked them on the app — without swiping first.

Tinder is rolling out a new members-only service called Tinder Gold. The feature costs $4.99 and is now debuting in the U.S., having already been offered in Australia and Germany. The "Likes You" feature will allow users to to see who liked them before they even swipe. In a blog post, the company said:

Think of it as your personal Swipe Right concierge — available 24/7 — bringing all of your pending matches to you.

The app has other premium features, like swiping from different places (geographically, not emotionally), or boosting your profile to make it more visible. These options could divide users, since those who enjoy the app's free features now have to compete for matches with users who pay for the premium options.

Chief Product Officer Brian Norgard talked to BuzzFeed about meeting the needs of free accounts and premium members:

We're always working hard to be sure that being a subscriber adds value to your Tinder experience — and that not being one doesn't detract from Tinder's core purpose: to connect you with new people.

Many people will enjoy the new feature, but this guy isn't sure what he thinks about it:
