Six Flags Removes Confederate Flags From Theme Parks

Fun fact: Six Flags amusement parks, founded in Texas, are named for the six flags that have flown over the state. Following the violent events in Charlottesville earlier this month, however, Six Flags decided to replace them with six identical American flags – including several locations where the Confederate flag used to fly. 

From now on, guests will see six sets of Stars and Stripes:

The decision to remove the Confederate flags was met with universal approval. It's a good thing Six Flags took the initiative to make the change before public outcry did it for them!
