Kim Kardashian West is the proud mama of 4-year-old North and 20-month-old Saint West (as surely everyone on planet earth knows by now.)
In June, Kardashian posted an adorable picture of little Saint buckled up in his car seat.
Surprising absolutely no one, the mommy shamers began coming out in droves.
The shamers decided to seize upon the fact that in the photo, Saint was seated in a forward-facing car seat (many believed it should have been backward facing.)
In response, Kim Kardashian appeared in a video in which she laid down some truth on all the haters.
In the video, Kim revealed that while Saint IS still under 2 years old, he meets both the height and weight requirements to be in a forward-facing car seat.
Also (and this is a bit of a tangent...) Saint already outweighs his big sister! Crazy, right?!
You can watch the full video below.
Kim is in line with California law, which states that children under 2 years of age must be in a rear-facing seat UNLESS they weigh more than 40 pounds OR are more than 40 inches tall:
Children under 2 years of age shall ride in a rear-facing car seat unless the child weighs 40 or more pounds OR is 40 or more inches tall. The child shall be secured in a manner that complies with the height and weight limits specified by the manufacturer of the car seat. (California Vehicle Code Section 27360.)
So how about all the back-seat moms out there just chill for a moment and let everyone raise their own children, mmkay?
