Kanye West Tweeted About The Music In 'Deadpool,' And Ryan Reynolds Replied In The Best Way 😂

There are celebrities that you can always count on golden content from, and Ryan Reynolds and Kanye West are pretty high on that list. Consider, then, what would happen if the two of them were to cross paths on Twitter.

The one thing you don’t want to do is throw any shade or criticism toward Reynolds’ passion project, Deadpool. In a tweet to Reynolds, however, Kanye thought it necessary to comment on the soundtrack, saying “I heard tracks in it that sound similar to mine…. [B]ro I would have cleared my music for Deadpool.”

Now, Kanye certainly isn’t knocking the Deadpool film series. In fact, he’s sure to start off by showing love, but his tweet comes off a bit condescending. It also warrants the question of whether Kanye watched the same movie.

Tracks featured in the film included “X Gon’ Give it to Ya,” “Papa Can You Hear Me,” “Take On Me,” “Nobody Speak,” and “If I Could Turn Back Time.” Maybe we need to refresh our Kanye West discography knowledge, but we can’t find the correlation. Is he talking about the “Deadpool Rap,” maybe? Now that would be an interesting cover.

Reynolds, always with the quick wit and dry humor, fired back with a simple, albeit incredible, response that the internet fell in love with.

He’s referring, of course, to Deadpool 2’s theme song, “Ashes,” which spurred the memorable music video featuring the Canadian singer and the Merc with a Mouth in an unexpected pairing. As of the posting of this article, West hadn’t responded to Reynolds, and the likelihood that he will is pretty slim.

Instead, we get to scroll the exchanges between fans of either party and see things like this weird exchange between a woman named Wendy Schapiro (@OzLady41563), who took a jab at Kanye, and Chilli Bate (@Asshawopolice).

This just led to a host of comments in support of Wendy’s style, to which we say: Work that pink hair!

Kanye's tweet opens up the door for other claims to be made about elements of Deadpool 2, as seen with Julie Eleftheriou's (@jctilton) claim that she, too, could have helped out the production.

Twitter user Jevaughn Brown (@Jevaughn_Brown) may have come up with an incredible idea that needs to happen for Deadpool 3.
