It turns out the old vaudeville joke of slipping on a banana peel is really a thing. It was a favorite also among the silent film stars like Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton, as you can see in the clip below.
These bits were gags for a quick laugh, no one ever expected to actually see someone slip on a banana peel in real life, but that's exactly what happened this week when Twitter user Samantha showed a video of her friend captioned:

In the extremely short, four-second video a woman is speaking into a banana, using it as a joke phone. She then throws the phone to the ground and... witness it yourself.
It seems the woman was attempting to do a bit from a viral video where a guys yells, "So, no head?" and then throws his phone in an apparent hissy fit over being shot down for sexual favors.
We can only guess the lesson here is when the person on the other end of the banana phone says, "Sorry, no head," take the news with a little dignity.
