While on a safari in Tanzania, Britton Hayes had an unusually close encounter with a cheetah when the wily cat jumped into the vehicle. The wild cat spent what must have been ten very tense minutes exploring the car before leaving to chase down a gazelle.
The safari guide told the passengers in the jeep to remain calm and not make eye contact with the cheetah. And that's exactly what they did.
