It seems the politicians in Congress can't stop fighting. They never agree on anything. Governing our nation has turned into an endless conflict between two hyper-partisan factions.
Senators Jeff Flake (R-AZ) and Corey Booker (D-NJ) are just as sick of it as we are. With a recent snowfall in Washington, they decided to take the fight outside with free pizza on the line.
Finally, a congressional fight people will be happy to see:

It may sound pretty epic, but in reality... it totally was.
This snowball "duel" was a much more pleasant version of some past political duels:
It's pretty clear both of these action heroes came to win:
But who took victory and who must admit a humiliating defeat?
It turns out being from Arizona wasn't as much of a hindrance for Flake as Booker thought it would be:
And it seemed everyone who read the story felt refreshed by its humanity:
Though it's a small step, Congress could use a few more human moments if they really want to work together to try and find compromises that please everyone.
