"Bless the human who did this,” was Tessa Thompson's response to a Twitter feed she stumbled upon on Monday that compared her to a goat.
The "tessa as goats" page promises to deliver "a new picture of tessa thompson as a goat every day." It had just put up a photo of Thompson wearing a rainbow-colored gown at the 2017 Emmys next to a photo of a goat with a similar fashion sense when the award-winning, Avengers: Infinity War actress happened upon it and tweeted out her delight.
Take a look:
She was so down with it that she put out a call for her fans to follow the page:
Her fans were happy to respond with more memes of her alongside goats:
Thompson has openly expressed her love of the animal.
Like in this interview from Short List:
I’m really, really fond of goats. I want to adopt a pygmy goat and name it Gal Dagoat, because Wonder Woman rocks. Goats are huge now, on the internet, but I’ve been a fan for ages. It’s like when your favorite indie band starts getting recognition. I’m happy, but also… stay away from my goats, you know?
While a comparison to a goat might be offensive to some, Thompson's love of the animal, coupled with the trendy use of G.O.A.T. as an acronym for "Greatest Of All Time" seems to make it okay in this one case:
Here she is again commenting about how much she likes it:
No! Someone I don’t know actually did this for me. I’m so moved.— Tessa Thompson (@TessaThompson_x) March 19, 2018
