Imagine living in your house for a whole year and not knowing something really creepy existed there, every day, just a few feet below. That's what one U.K. woman recently discovered—and her son scared the bejebus out of Twitter with evidence of its mere existence.
Yes, lurking just beneath her feet as she readied her tea and cooked her meals each day was a secret trapdoor hidden under linoleum squares.
But is it the trapdoor we should be afraid of? Or something more nefarious?
And just like that, Twitter was quaking:
There was a giant wine rack, likely used to hold the blood of all the victims— Sam (@SAMiCURE) March 4, 2018
There's always one guy who wants to ruin all the fun...
But give folks a hidden, dark passageway and they WILL look for the chills...
The room is apparently 10ft by 4ft and held nothing but a wine rack. It's a murder house— Sam (@SAMiCURE) March 4, 2018
10×4 hmm there's more to the room. I'd be opening up the wall behind the wine rack— Matthew yelle (@Matthewyelle4) March 6, 2018
But how did they finally discover it?
My parents took up the floor to get access to the pipes for a radiator & the secret door was underneath 👻— Sam (@SAMiCURE) March 6, 2018
It turns out there's more to be afraid of than Sam's mum's kitchen trapdoor...
