Reba McEntire just unwittingly became a symbol for women's disappointment everywhere. In all the years women have been fighting and marching for equality, as we've broken barriers in professional and political spheres, and even after we came THIS close to electing the first female U.S. president, what did we just get?
Chicken. We got... chicken.
And we got people who are convinced that a woman being near that chicken will destroy the world:
So... KFC's Colonel Sanders is transgender now? These Leftists and their Cultural Marxism is out of control. They are determined to destroy the human race.— Mark Dice (@MarkDice) January 26, 2018
And we got TV writer Jess Dweck rolling her eyes so hard at the whole thing:
There is no better metaphor for being a woman right now than wanting a female president and getting a female fast-food chicken mascot— Jess Dweck (@TheDweck) January 27, 2018
She wasn't the only one. Check out the comments:
Some of us wanted both. Obviously, we should have been clearer about priorities.— Rebekkah Porter🐝 (@RebekkahPorter) January 27, 2018

Megyn kelly: this is all fine, clever...but the colonel is actually a white man.— [error] (@File__Not_Found) January 27, 2018
And some men are still outraged, because their egos have all the durability of spun glass.— Dawn Carroll (@DawniePow) January 27, 2018
We have a headache from rolling our eyes now. Let's wrap this up with one last tweet that kind of says everything:
