"That was the one question I said, 'please don't....just don't even mention it,'" said a squirming Viola Davis.
Jimmy Kimmel has a way with pushing his guests' buttons, and this interview with 'How To Get Away With Murder' star Viola Davis was no different:
Kimmel opens with "so 'How To Get Away With Murder' is Melania Trump's favorite show, she said," leading to Davis furrowing her brow and struggling with how to answer in a way that wouldn't immediately disrupt a cable broadcast.
Kimmel goes the extra step and asks, "Would you ever consider a walk-on role for Melania Trump?"
Davis, after a brief struggle with her own internal monologue:
Surprisingly answers, "You know what, yes."
“Because you know what, I really want to talk to the lady. I really do,” she says. "I just want the inside scoop."
That's not an uncommon reaction: we're all pretty curious about what Melania's life must be like.
Melania has a Mead composition notebook filled with legal terms she heard on "How to Get Away with Murder."— Jordan Veilleux (@veilleuxwho) January 26, 2018
And with her husband's latest sex scandal hitting the tabloid shelves, we're also wondering about her reasons for watching the show:
She's trying to escape, shhh don't tell her pops, let's just keep playing along with her and Melania "studying" How To Get Away With Murder until the time is right 🤓🤐— The Dubya (@dwellman21) January 9, 2018
I still believe Melania is preparing an assassination attempt. All those episodes of How To Get Away With Murder shouldn't be wasted.— GigiFabulous (@geertjan98) January 9, 2018
But honestly, we would be more than a little jealous if Melania got to spend time with Viola Davis and the cast of 'How To Get Away With Murder.' Talk about dreams.
