The love story between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has captured the world's attention in a way we've not seen in a very long time. We've come to expect a certain amount of merchandising when it comes to the royal family, like commemorative plates, buttons, etc. We've come to expect fan art like perhaps a lovely drawing.
We didn't expect dolls. And we certainly didn't expect dolls like this.
An artist is selling the pair of dolls on Etsy for close to $200, and while that's not a bad price to pay for custom dolls, we feel like these may not be quite as "one-of-a-kind" as the artist would have us believe.
I am not a royal fan, but for £130, these Harry and Meghan dolls are a STEAL. https://t.co/y4Jnwj5giZ via @MailOnline. Here's the link, which reveals the same Harry doll is also for sale in American Revolutionary and Hamilton configurations: https://t.co/2pf4oKuCDS— Chris Pleasance (@chrispleasance) January 18, 2018
Twitter has so many thoughts to share.
Shirley Corsey is selling her 'royal wedding' dolls' for $181 on Etsy. But for some reason, the Harry doll has brown eyes and hair instead of blue eyes & red hairhttps://t.co/M1qjGQtASk— Hit Radio 104.7 (@hitradio1047) January 18, 2018

Why aren't his eyes and hair the right colour?— Mary Fleming 🏴⚒️ (@essex_girl97) January 18, 2018
Eventually Twitter figured the artist just mis-labeled the dolls and had some ideas about who they were actually supposed to be.
Lol that looks like Meghan, but the groom looks like Keanu Reeves. 😂— dre nee (@MotownDR) January 19, 2018

Of course, the GIF replies were epic.
So, yeah. There you go. We don't really know how to end this article because we're afraid if we offend the dolls, they'll come for us. So we're just going to back... away... slowly...
