Once again Oprah Winfrey takes the high road and shuts down a troll while simultaneously giving some good "life advice."
Winfrey sat down with actress/producer Reese Witherspoon to discuss empowerment and control after Witherspoon came forward with her own #MeToo stories about a sexual assault at the age of 16. Shonda Rhimes, America Ferrera and Natalie Portman were also in attendance.
In the clip, Winfrey has asked Witherspoon to talk about how speaking out about abuse leads to a greater sense of empowerment. Witherspoon responds by going back to a quote by holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel:
Silence helps the tormentors, it doesn't help the tormented. And neutrality helps the oppressors not the oppressed.
Instagram user aubry.grace decided that during a discussion on female empowement, she would take the time to add this now deleted comment: "I don't like you."
Oprah wasn't having it and in her own way of schooling responded with her own words of wisdom.
Well aubrey.grace wasn't finished. Now that she was getting the attention, she didn't know what to do with it.
Someone needed to put her big girl pants on before she started taking swipes at the Queen. He account has now been marked private with this message.
