On Saturday, people living in Hawaii received this message on their phones:
The alert system was reinstated thanks to escalating tensions with North Korea in tandem with the fact that it is the belief of U.S. intelligence that the 'hermit kingdom' now has the capability of striking Hawaii with a nuclear weapon. Understandably, considering the President's fiery rhetoric towards Kim Jong Un, the North Korean dictator, people took this alert extremely seriously and it caused widespread panic. Luckily, it was a false alarm and soon after the alert went out, this tweet was issued:
But, for a brief moment, two intrepid dad's were rather nonplussed in the face of annihilation. There was Jason's father:
This person wanted lessons from him:
