Power Goes Out At Consumer Electronics Show—And The Jokes Practically Write Themselves

Murphy's Law states  "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong".

The CES 2018 (Consumers Electronic Show) in Las Vegas was showing off all the latest gadgets in electronics when the power went out for 2 hours. The humor of the situation was not lost on Twitter which blew up with jokes. Let's hope the attendees, who paid $300 for a ticket to the event, saw the humor.

Marques Brownlee, video web producer, pointed out the irony.

Some sarcastically questioned how this was possible.

While others offered helpful suggestions.

It didn't take long for the panic to set in. How will we charge our phones??

A small tip for @GoofyPotus, if you are mid-stream and the lights go out, don't move, just stay still, and finish.

The only one who seemed to stay the course was the violin player.

Isn't technology supposed to make life better?
